not really getting started

Well, to make a short report about what i am doing about almost a year - ahm well, im doing fine with getting into entrepreneurship. It is not that easy - believe me. I've been to so many UPsss and DOWNsss the whole year i am dealing with our internet cafe.

There are so many things to consider too, not just the everyday turn about, but also the different customer you are dealing with as well as the taxes and business documents that you are to pay every now and then---the overhead expenses can be crazy TOO, they are all so OVER on my mind to think of. Well, done with the basic...I am happy that it is still doing okey, inspite of the difficulties.

My brother is going home now.. he stays with me for almost 9 months time. I do not know what will be the next thing to happen to us the other way around when we will be all by ourselves.

I have one new attendant but I am not that sure if we can get smoothen all troubles, there is always that someone who will ask some help or ask some services we are not really that good at. I think i need to bow down and pray harder for the following months.

Oh well, dear God just a small request- be with US always everyday here in our little cafe, this isn't that big, this won't eat up all your time in watching over. Just guide us and make our small business work out fine and prosperous for this year and onwards.

wall paper

at last!
i'm already done with the business permit as well as other requirements in the bureau of internal revenue. whoa!!!

it took me more than a month to settle everything.
opening up a new venture will eat up most of your time and your money.
if you are not prepared before doing it, then you are most likely to fail along the way.
the most important element of putting up your business is MONEY and TIME.
these two will work hand in hand.

there are also seminars and inspection to attend and comply.
there are also times when you almost lost your patience over anything.
everyday you must work your butt out to finish the process of business permit.
there are also fixers who will try to help but i will suggest DON'T ask their help.
you can do it by yourself believe me.

but if you don't have the time to process your permit-you can hire a bookeeper.
best if somebody recommends him/her.
the fee for getting a bookeeper will range from 2k to 6k depends on your agreement.

this week my bir certificates will be ready.
my receipts will also be ready.
i can finally post it on my wall.
then finally done with the paper works.

hope my new venture will be okey as the months go by.
god bless me.

MASTERBERT INTERNET CAFE'

Now we finally made up our mind. We settled on an internet cafe' business and educational supplies. It is a small scale business but it comprises with great effort and aspirations for me and herbert. Before we came out of this idea, we have so many other ideas ravaging our minds everyday. The person who wanted to put up a business was me. But it all ended up the idea to become mine and herbert as well. I think we need to go hand in hand whichever way we go. Internet Cafe' was herbert's passion when he was a kid. He wanted to put up one. It is not so difficult for him to put a business like that because he himself enjoys gaming, browsing on the internet and he knows how to set up the whole unit. So what I secretly did was I encourage him to push thru with the internet cafe' because he keeps on commenting on my ideas, so why not his own business ideas? Then he shut his mouth up..=) In fact it was me who wanted to have a business but all my ideas is not feasible enough with all the locations we choose from. Imagine from rice selling, grocery store, loading station, convenience store, educational supplies, lotto outlet, zagu franchise, minute burger franchise etc etc. Now for the final business idea and as a package we put up one internet cafe' with school supplies as well as i can put a loading station, xerox, scan, printing services in there too. The location was not that easy too. Need to do some feasibility studies. Research the target market. Look around for the competition. Pricing, canvassing, budgeting. Look for suppliers, installer, mason and carpenters.. but boy, thanks God the universe is giving us approval every step of the way. Enevnthough, there's so many things that sprouted out while we tried to lease the place. So many misunderstanding and paperworks. Though, i would say we tackled all (but not yet done were starting out yet!) Anyway, here is the renovation pics for our small commercial space. STATUS: UNDER RENOVATION
Huh, it's a work days ahead. At least we started out now. whew!

pre 'entrepreneur' days

i know.

i know it is not as easy as eating a pie.

but i wanted it.
so i really did try my best to put up a small scale business-

*rice retailing and other basic commodities
*lotto outlet
*loading station

first thing first:
1. SEMINARS/TRAINING/READ BOOKS ABOUT BUSINESS
2. RENTABLE COMMERCIAL SPACE
3. BUSINESS PLAN
4. MONEY ON THE BANK/CAPITAL

whew, it is not so easy to go around the city, find a location where you can locate a good traffic flow, a not so expensive commercial space and also find where you can get products that you intend to sell or franchise as well as prepairing and complying the requirements of putting up a business.

so, where am i now?

i give myself a rest first.

and-
read.
think.
plan.
account.
search.

i know i can get all done soon.
